Join API for an exciting and immersive international gap experience in Buenos Aires, Argentina!
Participants can contribute to the local community through service projects at a local food bank, working with young children or senior citizens, teaching English, or volunteering at local community organizations. Participants can also improve their Spanish language skills through the completion of a Spanish language and conversation course at a local language institute. One-month, two-month, and three-month placements are available.

In Buenos Aires, students live with local host families. Host families serve as a unique introduction into Argentine culture, and may be made up of a retirement-age couple, a single woman with or without children, or a traditional two-parent household. Students are provided with two meals per day (except on weekends), as well as, laundry service once per week.
Students will have a private bedroom and will live in the Palermo, Recoleta, and Belgrano neighborhoods, which are generally 15-45 minutes from the university.
