Students will study Spanish language and conversation at a local language institute for four hours per day each weekday morning. The language institute is located in the centrally-located and safe neighborhood of Recoleta. Taught by local instructors, classes will be small in size, with no more than 10-15 students per class. A placement exam will be administered upon arrival to determine spanish level. Classes will involve group participation and interaction.
Afternoon Group Cultural Activities
Each week API students will participate in several organized group activities. Examples of activities include:
• Visits to some of Buenos Aires’ most popular neighborhoods and museums
• Bicycle tours
• Guided discussion about human rights and wildlife preservation
• Cooking classes, folklore and tango lessons.
Students must have completed at least one year of high school Spanish with a grade of B- or higher.
