Arrive in Florence. Check into housing. Rest. Begin orientation. Dinner. Orientation and introductions. Welcome meeting. Walking tour of central Florence. |

Continue orientation and city tour. Official welcome meal. Placement exams (if applicable) and academic introductions. |

Weekend excursion. |

First day of classes. |
| July 2-27 |
Monday-Friday, classes in mornings. Optional studio art classes or cultural and recreational activities held during the afternoon. The Cooking Seminar is held each Friday morning. |

Overnight excursion to Rome, and day trips to Cinque Terre and the Tuscan countryside. |
